We all love to sculpt--that's why we're sculptors. Most of our energy goes into nudes, but some days, we just want a different challenge. Can I capture the wispy grace, the lightness, of a butterfly? Can I demonstrate the power and might of a horse in motion? What challenge might be presented if I tried to create a child's play block, with its hard corners? Can I portray friendship by the universal sign of agreement, the handshake? What about creating the friendly, slick features of a dolphin or the angry glare of a shark? Maybe today I should make a clown fish...
